Ballantine Park Pool To Open Soon After Repairs

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Ballantine Park pool is scheduled to open Friday after being repaired earlier this year.

Voters approved $100,000 to replace the pool liner, but it was determined the pool was too old and instead $15,000 in repairs was made, according to the Republican-American.

A new pool is estimated to cost around $1 million. First Selectman Jeffrey Manville estimates the repairs will last beyond two years.
