Bear Spotted on I-84 in Southbury Friday: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT - A bear was spotted on Interstate 84 East in Southbury by Exit 14 around 8 a.m. but fortunately it made it across safely and disappeared into the woods, NBC Connecticut reports.

Bear sightings are not uncommon in Southbury, which has seen 141 such sightings in the past year, which ranks seventh most in the state, according to the state.
