
A Southbury resident spotted a large bobcat on Thursday around 6:15 p.m. on Main Street North near the Woodbury town line, the Republican-American reported.
Henry Stormer and his wife spotted the animal as it was walking through a yard.
According to the paper, the State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has said that bobcats are becoming more common in Connecticut. Recent reports have involved attacks on Connecticut residents, where a bobcat tested positive for rabies.
