From Boy Scouts Troop 1607: Boy Scouts from Troop 1607 in Southbury will be available to pick up discarded Christmas trees from area residents on Saturday, January 5th .
Boy Scouts will pick up tree outside your residence. Cost is $10 per tree. Arrangements for pick up can be made by calling 203-707-1272 to schedule pickup. The Troop, which is sponsored by Southbury VFW Post 1607, uses the money raised from this event to help fund scouting programs throughout the year. Through their community involvement, the troop participates in a variety of veteran run events and also assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the VFW hall.
