Boy Scout Troop 1607 will be selling concessions during the Southbury Celebration on Saturday, September 23rd.

SOUTHBURY, CT - From Boy Scout Troop 1607: Boy Scout Troop 1607, which is chartered by VFW Post 1607 in Southbury, will be selling burgers and drinks to attendees of the town’s annual Southbury Celebration on Saturday, September 23, at the field at Lake Stibbs on Route 172 in Southbury beginning at 5pm. Although the Town of Southbury hosts the Southbury Celebration, for the first time the Boy Scouts will sell food and drinks as a fundraiser for the Troop.

The troop, which is sponsored by Southbury VFW Post 1607, uses the money raised from this event to
help fund scouting programs throughout the year. Through their community involvement, the Boy
Scouts participate in a variety of veteran run events and also assist with the maintenance and upkeep of
the VFW hall.
