Calvary Southbury Begins "Real Talk" Teaching Series

Calvary Chapel Southbury has begun a new eight-week study on Sundays entitled “Real Talk: Jesus’ Unfiltered, Unapologetic Essentials”.

John Eastwood, Pastor of CC Southbury, explains that “While churches seem compelled to present a Jesus who is all sunshine and rainbows, Jesus was not always that way. He is always loving, but He also has some very real, hard things to say to people - particularly to those who say they want to follow Him. As we go through these chapters in the book of Luke, we see that Jesus does not sugar-coat anything. He is real, unfiltered and unapologetic”.

Some of the topics that will be covered are: Life after Death, Getting over Yourself, Thanksgiving, The End, Waiting, Religion & Transformation, Children, and Rewards.

Services are held at 9:00 and 11:00 AM on Sundays at 134 Main St. S., Southbury, in the Bennett Square shopping center. Children’s programs are also offered for all ages.
