Developer Cited By Southbury Officials, Residents Share Concerns

SOUTHBURY, CT — Dichello Construction which is in the process of preparing 1416 Southford Road for a Krikit's Garden Center has incurred a letter of violation from the town for rock crushing that is occurring, the Republican-American reports.

The developer does have blasting permits but doesn't have the approval to crush rock due to setback concerns, the Rep-Am reports. Some residents have complained to the town. The developer recently moved to town and says he loves it and is eager to complete the necessary work as fast as possible.
