Developer Faces Daily Fines For Work In Southbury

The company says it has no plans to stop working either.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A developer who has already paid $2,550 in fines to the town for the use of "rock crusher machines" is now facing $450 daily fines for doing the same thing once again, the Republican-American reports.

The town is seeking an injunction to stop the work. The site is scheduled to become a of Krikit’s Garden Center and the work is being performed by Dichello Construction, the Rep-Am reports. The company contends they are doing nothing wrong and plan to continue rock-crushing operations into mid-March.
