DON’T BE FOOLED…
Don’t be fooled by the government’s claims that the economy is getting better. I have been watching the following phenomena get worse and worse since 2006 in CT. Yesterday, at 5:30pm, I was driving home in what should have been peak rush hour traffic. There was NO traffic. Do you know what that means? Yeah, people are not working. And don’t even try on me that they are working from home, most companies are still not doing this because they need you on the job.
Here in CT, our Governor and government are trying to claim that the unemployment rate is the lowest it has ever been. Did they even bother to interview or take statistics on all of the people whose unemployment benefits ran out and no longer are counted on unemployment? Of course not. So where are they getting these figures from? From false data that does not represent the true and valid situation that is presently going on in CT and around this country.

As my primary care doctor just stated to me today, what is even more concerning, is that by making these false statements, people who are remain unemployed think they are the only ones still in this horrific situation. They feel alone, isolated and further like failures. The unemployed person now becomes even more depressed as they then hide and isolate themselves further. False reports do not help this country. They are hurting it and the people that they are supposed to help.
