The Golden Button is having a Diorama Contest!
Di·o·ram·a (d-rm, -räm)n.A three-dimensional miniature or life-size scene in which figures, stuffed wildlife, or other objects are arranged in a naturalistic setting against a painted background.
The contest is open to children and adults alike. Build a diorama out of found, made or recycled items then submit it to The Golden Button, at 600 South Britain Rd., in Southbury, with a name a description! Please drop off your diorama by August 31st between 11:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. There is a suggested donation price of $5 per person. Proceeds will be donated to the Kitty Connection! Handmade ribbons will be awarded at our Diorama Party, on September 1st at 1:00 PM, in a variety of categories. Catagories will include... Most creative, Most realistic, and Best Use of Materials.
