Fill-a-Cruiser at Southbury Toy Drive
The Southbury Plaza and Southbury Police Department are teaming up to collect new, unwrapped toys for those in need.

The merchants of the Southbury Plaza have teamed up with the officers from the Southbury Police Force to organize a toy drive to benefit children in need.
Police officers plan to be on hand from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the day after Thanksgiving — Friday, Nov. 28 — in front of the Plaza’s Kmart store to collect new, unwrapped toys.
Their goal is to fill their cruisers with enough toys so that every local child has something special to open on Christmas morning.
The toys will be distributed through the Southbury Needy Fund.

Cash donations will also be accepted and will be used to purchase items for older children and to accommodate any special requests families may have.
Those unable to drop off a toy that day will have another opportunity to do so on Saturday, Dec. 6, when officers will be back collecting donations at the same location.
