Fourteen mailboxes on Royal Coach Lane and Lakeridge Road were destroyed Monday morning, according to police reports. Around midnight, police were called to the area and discovered ten damaged mailboxes on Royal coach Lane and four on a nearby section of Lakeridge Road. Police say they have suspects in the case and expect to make arrests soon. Anyone with information about the destruction can reach the Southbury Police at 203 264 5912 Lakeridge Road last saw vandalism three weeks ago, when someone broke windows on two properties.

The Women’s Fellowship of the First Congregational Church, 40 DeForest Street, Watertown, will hold their annual Rummage Sale on Friday, May 1st from 2 – 7 PM and the $5 Bag Sale on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 – 11 AM. Clothing for all ages, books, kitchenware, toys, accessories and assorted odds and ends will be available for purchase at very reasonable prices. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
