Helicopter Flying in Southbury This Morning Checking Power Lines
Eversource will be flying copter over power lines for second time in few weeks checking on power line reliability to limit future outages.
SOUTHBURY, CT - For the second time in a number of weeks Eversource will be in Southbury this morning conducting aerial inspections of overhead equipment associated with its high-voltage electric lines.
The inspection involves the use of a helicopter flying low over transmission line corridors to check for any emerging issues that may threaten electric reliability.
Weather permitting, the helicopter will be flying in Southbury, this morning, from 8 a.m. to noon.
