The South Britain Congregational Church in Southbury will celebrate Maundy Thursday on March 24 at 7 pm. Scriptures and music will set a reflective tone, and communion will be served as we recall the last week of Jesus’ earthly life.
On Easter, Sunday, March 27, there will be two worship services.
The first will be an outdoor service with communion at the barn at the Audubon Society at Bent of the River, 165 East Flat Hill Road in Southbury. The service begins at 8 am. Plan to park in the main lot and walk to the barn (allow about 15 minutes). In the event of inclement weather, this service will be held in the church.
