Kindergarten Registration for 2019-20 School Year: Region 15

From Region 15 Schools: Parents and Guardians of children in Regional School District 15 who will begin Kindergarten in the 2019-20 school year, should begin the Kindergarten Registration process now. In Connecticut, a child who is 5-years old before January 1, 2020 can register for Kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. Regional School District 15 serves students in Middlebury and Southbury, CT.

To begin the process, Parents/Guardians are asked to complete an Initial Student Registration form as soon as possible and return it to the school your child will attend. If you are unable to complete and submit this form, please call the school office your child will attend. The Initial Student Registration form, as well as additional information about the registration process, including what school your child will attend, school contact information and additional required registration forms and registration dates, can be found on the Region 15 website at www.Region15.org/Kindergarten.

All incoming kindergarten students and their Parent/Guardian are requested to attend individual Kindergarten Registration appointments, scheduled in April. An opportunity for Parents/Guardians to learn about the Kindergarten Program in Region 15 will be held at each elementary school on March 5th , 2019 at 6:30 pm. (Snow Dates March 12th or March 19th ). At this meeting, Parents/Guardians will have an opportunity to sign up for Kindergarten Registration appointment dates. No Kindergarten Registration appointments will be made prior to the Kindergarten Parent Informational Night.

If you are unable to attend the Kindergarten Parent Information Night, please call the school your child will attend, after March 5th , to make a Kindergarten Registration
appointment at the school.
