Southbury residents are invited to attend a public informational meeting to learn more about the project.
Public Information Meeting Concerning Replacement of Bucks Hill Road Bridge over I-84 on March 14, 2019
The Department of Transportation will conduct a Public Information Meeting concerning Project No. 130-184, the proposed superstructure replacement of Bridge No. 01157 which carries Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury, Connecticut. The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on March 14, 2019 at the Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South, Room 205.
The project scope is to replace the existing superstructure. Replacement is required based on the finding of the latest routine Bridge Inspection Report in which the bridge superstructure was found to be in poor condition due to deteriorated girders. The new superstructure will be a multi-girder steel superstructure.
