Man Arrested For Attempting to Entice Sex From 14-year-old

An Oxford man was arrested Tuesday after arranging to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex.

According to the police report, 41-year-old Robert Bizewski of Oxford met a 14-year-old girl online in May 2010 and began having sexual conversations with her.  Southbury police were monitoring the discussions.

Bizewski arranged to meet the girl Tuesday on Main Street North.  He arrived at the address as scheduled and was arrested by Southbury and state police.

Bizewski was charged with criminal attempts at the following charges: Risk of Injury to a Minor, Sexual Assault II, Enticing a Minor and Misrepresentation of Age to Entice a Minor.

The Southbury Police were assisted in the arrest by the State Police Western District Major Crime and Naugatuck Police.

Bizewski was held on a $200,000 bond and was scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court, Wednesday.
