Man Arrested for Impersonating Brother, Failure To Appear in Court
Middlebury man tried to pass for his relative after a traffic stop.

A Middlebury man who wanted for failing to appear in court was arrested Thursday after impersonating his brother during a motor vehicle stop.
An officer stopped the 27-year-old on exit 15 of I-84. During the stop, the driver initially identified himself as his brother, but according to police, the officer quickly ascertained the man's true name. The officer then discovered that the man's license was suspended and was wanted for failing to appear in a Derby court.
He was charged with Criminal Impersonation, Operating with a Suspended Licence, Failure to Appear in Court, and for making an improper turn.
