
SOUTHBURY, CT — Calvary Chapel will construct a new 23,000-square-foot church at 354 Kettletown Road which will include a 500-seat auditorium, the Republican-American reports. The church which currently operates in multiple storefronts has grown over the years and is need of a permanent home.
The church plans have been approved by the town. Church officials say they will work to ensure that the church designs conform to the neighborhood and vowed to be a good neighbor. The new church should be built by the spring of 2019.
