No Apparent Cause or Serious Injury in Truck Crash
In the truck that was overturned today, only the driver suffered minor injuries. Police have yet to determine cause.
Police say they have yet to determine why a truck lost control and overturned on I-84 Monday morning.
According to a police reports, Ronald Alvarez of Mountain Top, Penn. was driving eastbound between exit 13 and 14 around 7 a.m. when it lost control and collided with the steel barrier and rolled the truck. Its cargo of M & M candy was spilled into the road.
Police closed the stretch of I-84 between exits 13 and 15 until around 4:30 p.m. after the crash.

Only Alvarez was harmed in the accident. He suffered minor head lacerations and was transported to Waterbury Hospital.
The tractor trailer, which is registered in West Virginia, was taken to Hillarios Towing and Truck Repair in Newtown.
