Visitation: Visitation will be held at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home. 235 Main St. North, Southbury, on Sunday, February 21 from 2:00-4:00 PM.

SOUTHBURY - Corinne Sophia Przedpelski, 86, formerly of Forest Hills, N.Y., passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, February 14th at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

The daughter of Walter H. Zingelmann, a German immigrant to the U.S., and Corinne Leatherbury of Mobile, Alabama, Corinne (Fifi) was born February 8, 1930, in Mobile, Alabama.

After surviving the war in Germany as a child, she returned with her family to Mobile, where she finished high school. She then moved to New York City where she met Ted Przedpelski, to whom she was happily married for 63 years.

Corinne was an active member of her church communities in both Forest Hills, NY and Southbury, CT, serving in nearly every volunteer capacity imaginable. Also an avid gardener, Corinne’s passion for flowers was evident throughout her work in the communities.

Corinne is survived by her four children, Andrew and his wife, Ginger, of Lindenhurst, NY, John and his wife, Lynda, of Summit, NJ, Victor and his wife, Jennifer, of Albany, NY, and Janet Przedpelski Sistek, and her husband, Brian, of North Andover, MA, along with ten grandchildren who were the loves of her life.
