Obituary: Francis J. Breen, 95, of Southbury

Francis J. Breen, 95, of Heritage Village, formerly of Manhasset, NY, died Sunday, May 22nd. He was the widower of Joan Ellen Breen.

Mr. Breen was born September 12, 1920 in Bridgeport, son of the late James and Ellen (Doyle) Breen. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a marketing manager for Mobil Oil for many years. He was a member of American Legion Post 204 and an avid golfer.

He was also a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves his five children - Sharon Thomson and her husband, John, Thomas Breen and his wife, Deidre, William Breen and his wife, Karen, Joan Cei and her husband, Michael and Barbara Schaffner and her husband, William, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
