Obituary: Mrs. Marguerite "Peggy" Hulbert, 79, of Southbury

Mrs. Marguerite “Peggy” Hulbert, 79, of Heritage Village, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 9th. She was the wife of Richard M. Hulbert.

Mrs. Hulbert was born June 28, 1936, in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie Molloy. She was a long-time resident of the Riverdale section of the Bronx prior to moving to Southbury.

She volunteered at the Heritage Village library and was a communicant of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Woodbury.

She was a faithful child of God and devoted to her beloved Catholic Church. Besides her loving husband of almost 58 years, she leaves three children and five grandchildren, who she adored immensely: Daughter, Linda Kral and her husband, Richard, of Bethel and their children Danielle and Matthew; Son, Michael Hulbert and his wife, Jian, of Las Vegas, NV and their daughter, Ke; and Son, Richard Hulbert of Norwalk and his sons, Ricky and Nicholas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Teresa of Avila Church, Main Street South, Woodbury. Calling hours: Sunday March 13th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in loving memory of Peggy.
