Pack 162 Cub Scouts Earn Arrow of Light
Thirteen boys are awarded Cub Scouting's highest honor at their annual Blue and Gold banquet

Cub Scout Pack 162 in Southbury, chartered through the Gainfield Elementary School PTO, recently awarded thirteen boys with their Arrow of Light award at the pack's Blue and Gold banquet at the Colonial Tavern on February 21st. The Arrow of Light is the highest award that can be achieved by a Cub Scout. The boys also participated in a crossover ceremony at the event as they transitioned from Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts as well.
Since its inception, the Boy Scouts of America has trained young people in citizenship, service, and leadership to better serve America’s communities and families through its quality, values-based program. Families with boys entering K-5th grade this fall who are interested in Cub Scouts are encouraged to contact the pack via email at info@cubscoutpack162.org or visit the pack web site at cubscoutpack162.org for more information.
