• 2 Firefighters Hospitalized After Southbury House Fire (patch.com) — Southbury residents saw a major emergency response Wednesday evening when a large house fire on Roxbury Road drew firefighters from several surrounding towns and sent two responders to the hospital with minor heat-related issues. Crews from Southbury and Roxbury led an aggressive attack that knocked down the blaze but left the home heavily damaged, while mutual aid from nearby departments helped contain the incident without additional injuries.
