Petition In Southbury Seeks President Trump's Ouster, Town Meeting Called: Report

A group of residents submitted a petition stating they believe the President should be removed from office.

SOUTHBURY, CT — If you believe national polls, President Donald J. Trump is not very popular, but what is happening in Southbury seems unique. Town officials told the Republican-America they've received two resolutions demanding Trump's ouster from office.

A town meeting will be held likely later this month on the requests because residents submitted enough signatures. The residents believe Trump has done enough to warrant impeachment.

If the resolutions are approved they will be forwarded to the town's federal delegation, the Republican-American reports.
