Plow Truck Drivers Leave Too Much Salt on Soutbury Roads: Report
The town is expected to save significant money next year by utilizing less salt after snow and ice storms.

SOUTHBURY, CT - Apparently, town employees do too good of a job at leaving salt on roadways after snowstorms.
Town officials told the Republican-American that an analysis revealed that the town may leave up to 25 percent too much sand and salt on roadways.
Officials decided to remove $100,000 from next year's sand and salt account, which leaves $318,000 for next year and an additional $120,000 in a reserve account.
