Man Arrested For Possesion of Marijuana
Thomas Bickelhaput, 20 of 31 Highpoint Rd, Southbury was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an officer pulled him over for a moving violation on I-84 and discovered the contraband.

Police are investigating a neighbor dispute that occurred in Heritage Village.

Woman Drives on the Wrong Side of the Road, On a Suspended License, Drunk
An officer observed a car driving on the wrong side of the road on Heritage Rd, traveling eastbound in the westbound lane. He stopped the car and discovered the driver was intoxicated and her license was listed as suspended.
The officer arrested the driver, Jennifer Osborne, 58 of 953 Heritage Village for driving the wrong way on a divided highway, driving while intoxicated and operating with a suspended license.

Cigarette Receptacle Stolen From Library
Police are investigating the theft of a cigarette receptacle from the public library on Monday.
Library staff reported the ashtray missing from the front of the building at around 11 a.m.

Windows Broken at Two Lakeside Rd Residencies
Police are investigating broken windows on a house and two vehicles on Lakeside Rd some time between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Two vehicles were parked in their owner's driveway when their windows were shattered during the night.
At a separate residency, owners reported their front living room window destroyed.
Police are treating the damage as separate incidents.

Construction Equipment Stolen From Hulls Hill Rd.
Police are investigating a larceny of construction equipment from Hulls Hill Rd. The crime occurred between 8/20 at 11:30 p.m. and 8/24 7:30 a.m., after the aforementioned theft of traffic cones and signs on the same road.
