Police arrested a Waterbury man for carrying a concealed weapon, Thursday.
An officer had stopped an unregistered motorcycle for a moving violation at 12:38 a.m. on Strongtown Road when he noticed the driver, Charles Bucchioni, 23, of Waterbury, had a handgun concealed in his waist.

The police officer detained Bucchioni and determined that the weapon was an unloaded BB gun.
Bucchioni — who is also not licensed to drive a motorcycle — gave "odd reasons" for carrying the weapon.
He was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motorcycle without motorcycle endorsement, operating a motorcycle without glasses and failure to drive right.
Police Investigate Damaged Porsche
A Porsche 911 convertible belonging to Walter Mazurosky, the Manager of Circulation and Classifieds at Voices, was parked behind the prime publisher's building at 55 Heritage Road when its left rear bumper was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Brian Flynn at 203-264-5912.
Wallet Found

Middlebury man arrested for DUI
Officer observed a vehicle traveling erratically on Main Street North, near exit 15. A motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of the driver, Louis Yakobson, 24, of 2 Colonial Street, Middlebury, for DUI and unsafe lane change.
