Popular HGTV Show To Feature Southbury Residents Tonight: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury residents Gordon and Liz Jones will be featured on the popular HGTV Show "House Hunters International" tonight, according to the Republican-American.

The episode centers on them touring castles in Ireland and they ended up buying one too. The show airs 10:30 p.m. tonight (Monday, Sept. 25) on HGTV. You can see which castle they bought. The Southbury residents have always been enamored with castles and historic structures and they begin looking for castles five years ago.

Camera crews also shot some footage around town for the episode, the Rep-Am reports. The couple said they loved the experience and praised everyone who worked on the episode.

According to the show's website, "Medieval re-enactors Liz and Gordon are off to Ireland to pursue their dream of owning a castle where they can host events and live out their alter egos among authentic backdrops. But while their appetite for history is endless, their budget is finite, and Liz and Gordon may have to settle for a fixer upper that they can transform into the castle of their dreams."
