Redevelopment Of Former LaBonne's Market Hits A Snag: Report

Approvals are in place but now here comes the hard part.

SOUTHBURY, CT — There's good news and bad news when it comes to the redevelopment of the former LaBonne's Market site at 150 Main St. South. The good news is the site has received approval to become a medical facility site, but the bad news is no one is currently interested, reports the Republican-American.

The zoning permit is still in effect if someone is interested, officials said. The existing 14,000-square-foot building would be significantly renovated as part of the approval. Lots of new trees and improved lighting are also part of the approval.
