Smash-And-Grab Vehicle Burglars Strike Again In Southbury: Report

There have been a total of five similar crimes since late August.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Smash-and-grab burglars struck again in Southbury last week, The Danbury News-Times reported. There have been a total of five similar crimes since late August.

In the most recent case, police responded on Wednesday morning for a report of a vehicle on Church Road that had a window smashed overnight. The vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing of value was taken, The Danbury News-Times reported.

In an incident earlier last month, burglars broke into a car in a dog park during the day.
