Southbury Announces Full List of Streets to Undergo Chip Sealing Work

Beginning July 18, the Town of Southbury will begin chip sealing the following roads:

Cooper Hill Road
Eagle View
Drive Elk Drive
Fieldstone Way
Fox Run Road
Gate Post Lane
Grey Rock Road
High Meadow Drive
Holly Hill Lane
Horizon Hill Road
Hulls Hill Road
Jacob Road
Kettletown Woods Road
Lantern Park Lane North
Lantern Park Lane South
Laurelwood Drive
Little Fox Road
Luna Trail Extension
Luther Drive
Mistletoe Drive
Murphy Lane
Nod Hill Rd.
Overton Farms Road
Painter Road
Palmer Road
Peck Lane
Peppertree Hill Road
Saddle Ridge Lane

This process is expected to take two to three weeks, weather permitting. Loose gravel conditions can be anticipated for ten working days thereafter.

Please anticipate traffic delays and gravel road conditions during initial installation and for the following two weeks.

The roads will remain open for mail delivery, emergency vehicles, and local traffic. No street parking will be allowed during the application. Sweeping will take place after the stone has been down about a week.
