The Southbury Board of Selectmen appointed Jason Van Stone to serve as a Selectman to fill a recent vacancy

At a meeting held on September 19, 2024, the Southbury Board of Selectmen appointed Jason Van Stone to serve as a Selectman to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Greg Kuehn. We want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Kuehn for all his hard work and dedication in serving as a member of the Board of Selectmen.

Prior to his appointment to the Board of Selectmen, Mr. Van Stone served as an alternate and then regular member of the Planning Commission. He is currently a member of the Southbury 2024 Charter Revision Commission.

Mr. Van Stone has been a resident of Southbury for the past four years. He has a Bachelor of Science in corporate Communication from Southern Connecticut University and is Vice President of Marketing Communications at Sentinel U.
