Southbury Gives Update On Power Outages

SOUTHBURY, CT — About 250 households are still without power in Southbury, according to town officials.

"At this time, we do not have a time estimate for full restoration from Eversource," town officials said on Facebook. "Eversource has been working around the clock and have assured us that they are doing everything they can in order to restore power in Southbury."

In the meantime the following warming, showering and charging centers are open:

Senior Center
Friday, March 09, 2018 - Open until 1 pm
Sunday, March 11 - Open 1-3 pm

Southbury Public Library
Friday, March 9 - Open until 5:30 pm
Saturday, March 10 - Open 9:30 am-4:00 pm
Sunday, March 11 - Open 12-5 pm

Showering Facilities
Parks and Recreation Building:
Friday, March 9 - Open until 1 pm
Sunday, March 11 - Open 1-3 pm

Pomperaug High School (gym area)
Friday, March 9 - Open until 11 pm
