Southbury Hiring for 10 Positions Including 5 Vacant Police Officer Jobs: Report

Southbury, CT - The town is in the process of hiring for numerous positions including in several prominent departments, the Republican-American reports.

Mark G. Massoud, the town's zoning enforcement, is leaving for the same position in Watertown, the Rep-Am reports.

Other positions available include: transportation coordinator, senior center and public works directors, assistant town clerk, and five vacant police officer positions.

Town officials say they are receiving numerous interest in each available position and the police officer exam attracted 135 candidates recently.
