Southbury Looking For Vending Truck Operators For Parks
The town is seeking responses to a request for proposal which would alloying vending truck operators to sell food.

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Town of Southbury is seeking responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) from experienced parties interested in operating a Vending Truck permitted to sell food items within Settlers Park and Community House Park.
Sealed proposals will be received until 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Office of the
First Selectman, Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South, Southbury, Connecticut 06488, at which
time all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room 208 of the Town Hall.
Any proposal received after that time will be returned unopened. Proposal amounts less than $1,250.00
may not be considered.

Specifications and Proposal documents are on file and may be obtained at the Office of the First
Selectman at the above address, or electronically on the town’s website www.southbury-ct.org under the
“Procurement and Bidding” page. Prospective proposers shall examine the proposal documents and shall
comply and conform strictly to the conditions and instructions contained therein.

The Town of Southbury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part or to waive
any informality in the proposal if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Southbury.
Proposals may be held by the Town of Southbury for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date
of the opening of proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications
of the proposer prior to awarding the contract.
