Southbury Man Caught in Stolen Car with Crack Pipe: Police
The Southbury man was stopped on I84 in Danbury in a speeding, stolen vehicle when he and the driver were found with crack pipes.

SOUTHBURY, CT — State Police with a license plate reader got a hit on a stolen vehicle that was speeding on I84 in Danbury and upon pulling the vehicle over, the pair was found in possession of crack pipes, according to a police report.
A police K9 was used to do a body search and found the crack pipes on Alexander Santopietro, 26, of Southbury, Conn. and Marissa Primiano, 31, of Katonah, New York. Danbury police assisted in stopping the vehicle.
The pair was arrested for possession of a motor vehicle and use of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Primiano, who was driving the stolen car, was also arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Santopietro was also arrested for possession of narcotics and violation of a protective order. Both were processed at Troop A in Southbury and held on bond.
New York State Police are assisting in the investigation of the stolen vehicle, police said.
