Southbury Man has $50,000 Reasons to Smile

As someone who is fairly new to playing the CT Lottery’s “Lucky Links with 2XPOWER” game, Alexander Rostocki of Southbury said he’s been pretty lucky.

“I started playing a few months ago; I won $300 a couple times, and just kept on playing,” Rostocki, of Southbury said in a lottery news release.

On January 25, Rostocki became even luckier. That evening, the “Quick Pick” numbers on Rostocki’s “play grid” were a perfect match to the Lucky Links winning numbers drawn.

The winning Lucky Links Night numbers were 3 - 6 - 7 - 11 - 13 - 16 - 17 - 21, which created 8 winning lines for the game’s $50,000 top prize.

Since the Lucky Link’s began April 2015, the game’s $50,000 top prize has been won a total of 7 times.

“This money will go right in the bank,” Rostocki told Lottery officials according to a release.

Rostocki’s top prize winning Lucky Links ticket was purchased at Patty’s Pantry located at 1224 Strongtown Road in Southbury.

Patty’s Pantry will receive a $500 bonus check from the CT Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
