Southbury Municipal Budget, School Referendum On May 8

Information via the town of Southbury concerning the municipal and school budget referendum scheduled for Wednesday, May 8.
General Information
- The Town of Southbury Budget and Pomperaug Regional School District #15 Budget Referendum
- Date: Wednesday, May 8, 2019
- Referendum hours: 6AM - 8PM
- Polling location: All voting will be held at the Firehouse at 461 Main Street South
Voter Eligibility:
- Property owners who are not registered voters in Southbury may vote at the referendum providing they are U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years of age and own property valued at $1,000 or more recorded on the Southbury Grand List as of October 1, 2018.
- Election Day Voter Registration is not available for Referendum

Voters must provided identification to vote at the polling place. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver’s license or other photo ID; U.S Passport; a pre-printed form of ID, like a tax bill or utility bill, pay stub or bank statement; Social Security card or other government document that shows your name and address; a document that shows your name and signature (i.e. a credit card).
