Southbury Republicans Pick Their Slate Of Candidates: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — Local Republicans have selected their slate of candidates for the fall including renominating first-term First Selectman Jeffrey A. Manville for a second-term, the Republican-American reports.

Other Republicans picked include: incumbents George Bertram, Jason Buchsbaum and Jennifer Naylor, for the board of selectmen. The Tax Collector candidate is Lynn Dwyer. Region 15 school board candidates include: Marion Manzo, Heather Rodgers and Bryan Watson.

Board of Finance candidates include: Richard Hill, Arthur Mulligan, John Reilly, and Bill Tolley. Republican leaders say the party is both strong and unified and ready for a strong showing in the fall, the Rep-Am reports.
