Southbury Resident Announces First Selectman Run

SOUTHBURY, CT — Heritage Village resident Rich Boritz said he will run for first selectman and is looking to earn the endorsement of the Southbury Democratic Town Committee.

Boritz said he wants to preserve the town's character and handle its future challenges, according to the Republican-American. He was an Army National Guard member for 22 years and worked for 40 years in the Stamford school system.

Current First Selectman Jeffrey Manville will run for re-election and Selectman Jennifer Naylor also announced her intentions to run for first selectman.
