Southbury Residents Appeal Zoning Decision: ZBA Agenda

There are three items that will be before the Zoning Board of Appeals next month.

Zoning Board of Appeals: Public Hearing on August 7, 2018

The Southbury Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 in the Southbury Town Hall, 501 Main Street South in Room 205 at 7:00 p.m. on the following applications:

  • #10489 Applicants David and Donna York - Appeal of the Zoning Regulations relating to Schedule B Line 7.1 minimum setback (50 feet) from street line of State Highway (Route 67), so as to permit construction of a deck 37 feet from the street line to be used as the main entrance in rear of dwelling for property located at 1008 Southford Road Zone R-60.
  • Applicants Fred and Loretta Gillotti – Appeal of Enforcement Decision relating to business in a residential zone. Violation of home enterprise per Section 3.3.1e located at 196 Beecher Drive in residential Zone R60.
  • #10459 Applicant St. James Lutheran Church – Applying for Modification of Special Exception under Schedule A, Line-B3.1 located at 111 Peter Road to permit placement of an 8’ x 12’ storage shed for used clothing collection on church property located at 111 Peter Road, Zone R-30.

At these hearings, interested persons can appear and be heard. Written communications will also be received.
