Southbury Selectman Pitches Gun Control Resolution

This resolution differs from a previous attempt to ban firearms on municipal properties.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury Selectman Michael Rosen, a Democrat, is seeking to have the town approve a resolution that would ban guns without serial numbers, or Ghost guns, and bar anyone from possessing or buying bump stocks, the Republican-America reports.

The state's General Assembly is also considering the same gun control proposal. Local Democrats unsuccessfully pushed to ban guns from municipal properties and facilities. No word yet on what the Selectmen will do considering Rosen's resolution request.
