Southbury Senior Center Plans Third Pick Up Parade
The third Pick-up parade is scheduled for Wednesday for members of Southbury Senior Center who register in advance.
SOUTHBURY, CT - Southbury's Senior Services Department will host its third monthly “Fun Filled Pick Up Parade” on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. rain or shine. The event is for current members of the town's Senior Center. The parade has been hosted by the department monthly since May.
Interested seniors must RSVP to the center so the services team can have an accurate headcount and ensure a good variety of available activities.
Seniors will drive to the back of the building and must wear masks and remain in their cars. The Senior Center services team will have tables set up with a variety of activities on display that the team will drop into the member’s back seat.

Activities include jigsaw puzzles, activity books such as word searches, Soduko and crossword puzzles, DIY art projects for decorating and planting-your-own flower pot, and paint a landscape step-by-step.
