Southbury Taxes: Feb. 1 Final Date To Pay Without Penalty

Taxes can be paid online or by mail. There is also in-person payment, but coronavirus protocols will make the wait longer.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury's second installment of real estate and supplmental motor vehicles taxes can be paid without penalty until Feb. 1.

Taxes can be paid online or mailed to: Town of Southbury, PO Box 467, Southbury, CT 06488. The tax bill stub should be mailed back.

Town hall has limited availability due to the coronavirus pandemic here are the details:

The open hours are: Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 2:00pm and Friday 10:00am - 12:00pm. Visitors will be admitted on a first come first served basis with possible wait times due to COVID-19 protocol.

The public entrance is at the lower corridor of Town Hall, accessed from the lower parking lot, and all other doors will remain locked. There is a greeter stationed at the entrance to manage capacity restrictions. Please note that the Tax Office cannot take cash over $50.00. Anything above that amount needs to be paid by check, money order or a bank check.

Payments by check may be dropped off at any time in the drop box located on the side of the building accessed from the upper parking lot. Please DO NOT deposit cash in this drop box.
