Southbury Teen Charged with Drug Possession After Traffic Stop: Report
A police officer pulled the car over after noticing it crossed the yellow center line, according to a report.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Jordan Sinclair Mcdarren, 18, of Scout Road in Southbury, is accused of possessing more than one-half-ounce of suspected marijuana after he was stopped as part of a traffic stop on Luther Drive earlier this month, the Republican-American reports.
A police officer observed the teen's car, Chevrolet Tahoe, cross over the yellow center line on Bagley Drive and a traffic stop was initiated, the report states. Police said they could smell marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police said they found a backpack which contained what they believed to be a "green plant like substance," a bong, digital scale and other items, the Rep-Am reports.
