SOUTHBURY, CT — A Southbury woman said she was asked to cover a shirt portraying Justice Ruth Bade Ginsburg while she was at the polls on Election Day, WTNH reported. While clothing or other items portraying a candidate's name or likeness are barred, slogans are allowed.

However, Doreen Lawson told WTNH that a poll worker asked her to zip up her jacket to cover the shirt as it was "political." Lawson said she agreed but only zipped up the jacket halfway.
