Southbury Will Be Picking Up Tree Debris Along Roadways

Storm Debris Management Update.

The Town of Southbury will be picking up tree debris along the roadways including those homes along State roads. Please keep in mind the following guidelines:
- The Right of Way (ROW) varies from road to road but extends approximately 10 feet from the curb.
- Residents should be mindful of not blocking the line of sight of traffic at intersections or their driveways when placing their tree debris.
- Nothing should be on or overhanging the curb/pavement.
- Trees should have limbs cut off the trunk and trunk (logs) cut to 8 foot lengths or smaller.
- The Transfer Station continues to accept vegetative debris at no charge.

The pick up along roadways will be a very long process, we thank you for your patience.
