Southbury Women's Club Aids Several Local Non-Profits

More than $9,000 was raised for three local non-profits in Southbury.

The Southbury Women’s Club is a wonderful organization in our town that raises money for a variety of different causes.

Yesterday they presented checks to the Southbury Food Bank, Southbury Needy Fund and the Southbury Fuel Bank. Each of these organizations received $9,250.

This money was raised from the Southbury Turkey Trot, an event the Women’s Club holds on Thanksgiving Day each year. The proceeds are used to assist the neighbors in our town who are in need.
